The Talent Acquisition Manager is a part of the People Department, and reports directly to our Head of People (HoP). You’ll be responsible for ensuring we continue to attract and hire the best and brightest people for our full-time, part-time, and freelance roles through a wide variety of tasks including:

  • Identifying avenues to continue to attract amazing candidates
  • Cultivating a bench of strong candidates and actively suggesting them for new roles
  • Drafting career descriptions and creating and maintaining all career funnels and automations
  • Managing funnels and timelines, reviewing applications, conducting interviews of amazing people, and scheduling onsite interviews with candidates and other Tribe members
  • Regularly report on career openings’ statuses, identify when roles are not receiving enough interest, and strategize additional steps to attract more candidates
  • Actively seek ways to improve the experience for prospective Tribe members, part-timers, and freelancers
  • Making rejection and offer calls, and drafting agreements and conducting paperwork onboarding with new hires
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the incredible humans applying to work with Scribe!

By virtue of your position, you’ll have a deep involvement in scaling our Tribe from 70 to hundreds of full-time Tribe Members! You’ll have the opportunity to support thousands of candidates with their application process and be the introduction to the Tribe experience for the dozens of new Tribe members we intend to hire this year alone. If you do it right, you'll quickly understand your value as a member of this high-performing Tribe.

Who are we and what do we do?

We’re Scribe Media, and our mission is to help everyone on earth write, publish and market their book.

The problem is that writing and publishing books are, for most people, a painful and difficult process, loaded with uncertainty and aggravation. Our goal is to make it as simple as possible, so that as many people as possible can do it.

We have multiple ways we help people do this. We can edit and publish an already written manuscript (Scribe Publishing), or we can help people write their book using a structured process with our guidance (Scribe Guided Author), or we can do a structured interview process that gets the book out of them in their words and their voice (Scribe Professional).

And if you can't afford our services, that's fine. We give away all of our information for free. Seriously, it's called Scribe Book School, and it's better than any paid course on the internet.

Why our work matters

Our company was started because a frustrated entrepreneur wanted to put all of her incredible knowledge and ideas into a book, but didn't have the time to write it or the patience to deal with the frustrating publishing process. So we solved her problem. The origin story is here.

These people want to write books, but don't have the time or desire to do it the old way, and that's why Scribe exists: we help people turn their ideas into books that both cement their legacy and impact the world.

Our process has worked for over 1500 authors in six years, and we’re growing fast. Our ultimate goal is to help everyone on earth write and publish a book.

You must hold yourself to high standards, be able to stay organized and keep details straight, or it messes with the rest of the company. Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: $60,000
